Last night I sat down to work on my daily writing prompt and I wrote a story–a very short story, but a story nonetheless. I am forcing myself to get back to writing every day, like I was when I was actually producing something decent every once in a while. They always say (I love “them” don’t you?) that you can write every day and produce crap 6 out of the 7 days, but if you get one good thing on the 7th day, it’s more than worth it. I just have to keep at it until it’s habit again. Baby steps, for sure, but at least they’re steps.
