Pamela Anderson isn’t the only one who is “stacked”

I love books. I could easily spend hours (and my life savings) in a bookstore. I love the way they smell. I love the way they feel in my hands. I love the way the colorful spines decorate my shelves. I love how official my desk looks, with all the manuals and guides stacked up and ready to use. I love finding brand-new books for a dollar at book sales or used bookstores. I love finding books I’ve been looking for on the clearance shelf at Half-Price Books. I love making lists of books I want to read. I love having e-books on my Pocket PC and knowing that no matter where I get stuck, I will never be bored.

I love books.

I went to Barnes and Noble and Half-Price Books last night so I could pick up a few things. I made myself go home when I caught myself wandering happily through Half-Price and making lists of books I want to buy. Bad, bad bookworm! I am teetering precariously close to more books than bookshelves.

I love books.
