So I haven’t posted here in awhile. That’s probably because my life has been a crazy whirlwind of activity and milestones and, thankfully, a little vacation. Since my last post, a lot has happened. Let’s have a small recap!
- Shawn and I had a very hectic but wonderful Christmas with our families.
- We moved me into our beautiful new apartment on the first day of the new year. Shawn moved his things over gradually (still is, actually!) and moved in with me officially when we got home from our honeymoon.
- I turned 27.
- Because I have wonderful friends and family who love me, I had two bridal showers and a bachelorette party in the month of February! So much fun.
- I managed to sprain my ankle, have the stomach flu, and get hit by a hit and run driver in the last week of February and first week of March.
- Thankfully, none of those things prevented me from marrying the love of my life on March 10th in the most beautiful wedding I could have imagined.
- We took a fantastic honeymoon to Las Vegas and had a blissful week off together from work.
- We’re back now, in the real world, and I still can’t really believe we’re married at last.
I am posting pictures from the wedding as I get them. My big sister was our photographer and she did an absolutely amazing job (just like I knew she would). They are turning out to be beautiful. I can’t wait to see the pictures of me and Shawn together. I tried uploading our honeymoon pictures last night but it didn’t work, so I’m going to have to do it again tonight. We got some good ones…Vegas is quite a town!
